BTC's Welding Technology Program will be hosting the 2008 Welding Rodeo Sculpture Competition on Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17, 2008.
FRIDAY, MAY 16th
Amateur Competition – High School and College Teams
7:00-8:00AM Booth set-up (coffee & donuts available at BTC Bookstore booth)
8:00-12:00PM “Diving For Scrap” (Promptly at 8 AM) & Sculpture Fabrication Period
12:00-12:30PM Lunch Break - (Mandatory) (food provided by BTC)
12:30-4:30PM Sculpture Fabrication and Booth Clean-up Period
2:00-4:45PM Judging
5:00PM Announcement of Winning Amateur Sculptures (the 3 Winning Sculptures and Peoples Choice will be included in the Live Auction on Saturday)
5:00-5:30PM Booth Clean-up must be completed
5:30PM Event Closes
1:00PM Friday to 4:30PM Saturday:
Silent Amateur Auction Period (closes promptly at 4:30PM on Saturday)

Professional Competition – Professional Teams of Artists and Metal Trades Craftsmen
