Welding Rodeo
May 16-17th, 2008

BTC's Welding Technology Program will be hosting the 2008 Welding Rodeo Sculpture Competition on Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17, 2008.

This sculpture competition will allow for 10 teams, (each consisting of 4 people) to select scrap metal, design, and fabricate a finished sculpture in just 8 hours. There will be quality individual and team prizes for contest winners, as well as an opportunity to exhibit on the BTC campus. All sculptures will be subject to a public auction, with the proceeds to benefit the BTC Welding Student Scholarship Fund, the Welding Rodeo, and participating artists.
